Universal Mother

I take no credit

Nature in all Her glory beckons all be still and see.

 Her work, Her ways that never cease, bringing all eternal peace.

Be like me she says in silence, joy and love to all you meet.

They may think they are alone, but you know well you work with me,

Sway like the leaves, run like the brook, flower in hand or sword.

Let all partake of what you have, with me in one accord.

Love will bring them to my side, love will let them see.

They will listen and rejoice, in being one with me.

In the hustle and the bustle, of the busy streets and towns,

you don't know me, hear me, see me, yet you'll find me around.

Stop in trying to solve all worry, come where it's quiet, still and free,

no troubles, no doubts or fears to labour, if you will learn to lean on me.

My strength will lift you, when you weaken, when all things still weigh you down

Trust in me what ere befalls you, come and receive your crown.

The crown is in the life of nature, all things together one with me

I am beauty in the darkness, bright and shining as the silvery sea.

Love as the pure in heart do, know me friend I am your slave,

Magnify me to perfection, then together saviour and saved.

Together then we'll make a cloths line, hanging up each daily dreg

Bring all down trodden to your washing, nature has only one peg.

Give of yourself my friend give freely till your arms and legs can give no more.

You are my arms, you are my legs, but you are not the door.

Do the work to help to free me, you are my arms we two as one.

Struggle right up to the portal, now the work has truly begun.

See me in the darkest dungeon, do not hide or run from me.

I am not evil, I am truth, and wisdom to all who see.

Together to the portal working, Needing each other constantly

You work the arm and legs to free me, then you can have the key.

I have waited for you to know me, hear me, see me, feel my touch.

Can you hear me in the thunder, do not tremble or fear so much

I also whisper in the wind that blows and caresses every tree

Know me, love me, in all things, I will wait for thee.

I'll chastise you just like a mother, when you have gone wrong,

Since the beginning, I have known you, Tis only now you've grown.

Only when you know who nurtures, do you grow, and flow and bend.

Leaving troubles as not troubles, only a means to an end.

The mother chastises but loves you so, it helps to light your way

Don't run from the light in hurt and sorrow help me to light your way.

I only give you what you asked for, each new life along lifes way

I do not separate each lifetime, lifetime one is one and one you stay.

Do you remember lives as a warrior, cutting down all in your way.

No you wouldn't you don't remember life from life each little day.

Do you remember that poor beggar, you judged him in a way,

T'was not for you to shun or judge, one life in his own little way.

He is my child just so as you are, learning to sorrow and  pray.

 To me who listens to her child, along each life, each little day.

Learn to love all they are all mine, one day for you, for them I will shine.

You've played so many, many parts, like acting out a play,

You've forgotten but I remember, each life each act, each play.

To the last door we together, hold the key to love and peace.

Then in silence watching waiting, knowing love to never cease.

Now you know me no more acting, my child has learned to see

The mother who loves and cares for you through-out eternity.

Be a good child see all things new your brother needs you but I need you to.

I'll love you like a mother could no more we'll be apart

We work now together, with only one heart.
