In this life what time left for loving?
For giving, receiving and share.
To offer it all to Gods keeping
And tell Him, His Love was so dear.
To go back to where we came from,
Is to go home to all that we love,
acknowledge the past with the future
As one, in the present with Love.
In the balance of the book there's a straight line,
That goes on and on endlessly.
The only difference with Love is the changes
In it's form, as it shapes and displays.
The colours, the beauty, from the bounty
All given to each life to take.
Then at the end of each cycle
We give it all back again.

The Bonus years.
The closing of life, oh so special,
All the balance of all, fits in place.
What was measured as happy or sadness
In the end, it was all just the same.
There's a wisdom that comes when we're ageing
To show us it cared all along,
If we had listened more, instead of talking,
Its voice would have sung us the songs
From sorrow, there always came gladness,
The heart weighs up all every day,
If we only relaxed as it happened
Our life would have been different to-day.
We did all think it was our way
To do only things that we want,
Instead if we took only what it gave us
How happy , our hearts would rejoice.
Our mind took us off on a journey
As we learnt when we walked in its ways,
Of work,play,friends, peers, and family,
Sometimes to be alone, would have saved.
So many things that caused sorrow,
Too precious, the good things each year.
That brought us the love and the caring
From all that we loved and kept dear.
In the quiet moments of silence,
As we pondered on all that had been
A voice then would tell us in love that
It shared every minute each day.
From the first day, it has always been with us
Only now in the closing we see
It shares us in Spirit as oneness
To embrace evermore and just be.
Too late now to correct this lifetime
Maybe next time, we start early to see,
What stays with us from start to finish
As Spirit from beginning to end.

A parents wealth of knowledge.
A father told a child when small
A name is a special blessing
It signifies a ray of light
from where? there is no telling.
Children are named by the parents
Who think of themselves, when they choose.
If the child likes it, while it is growing
How lucky it is for a few.
When small, some like bubbles, or billy,
When grown, then the name is more sane,
It gains now a little acceptance
When the meaning is told them by peers.
They say,"what really is in a name " ?
A treasure trove of wealth,
Of flowers, plants, planets, and colours,
All sweet things, to make the heart melt.
The coldest of hearts in the winter
With it's perfume, it's shape, and it's name
When God gave us so many reasons
To name women, rosebud or plain jane.
God tells us to look for the pearl of great price
To be found in the heart of us all.
Maybe when the time comes to find it,
The name,,,,margaret,,,,,the meaning,,,,,a pearl.

The Image of Love.
The Image of Love has no body
Form of human, nor made of the flesh.
No face to remember a longing
Nothing but a vision of rest.
It is nothing to do with knowledge
Or exsisting in all that you see.
No living creature can own it
Nor the Heavens, the Earth, or the Sea.
It subsists of itself as a oneness
Of beauty for all to take free
It gives all of itself to who knows it
And stays more or less so you see.
It gives, and has no expectations
Best to leave it as you find it each day.
It comes from the Spirit of God down
To earth and left with our needs every day.
Form of human, nor made of the flesh.
No face to remember a longing
Nothing but a vision of rest.
It is nothing to do with knowledge
Or exsisting in all that you see.
No living creature can own it
Nor the Heavens, the Earth, or the Sea.

Unconditional Love
When we open our eyes in the morning
View the new day with a smile,
Know whatever we face or it brings us,
We walk hand in hand every mile.
To love Him with no expectations,
To give and receive every day,
To live, laugh, love and serve Him,
With joy that comes from the way.
He said His thoughts are not our thoughts,
His ways too, are not our ways.
If he loves us, we need only bend in his spirit
Just know, that we walk in His ways.
No need to ask for His favour
He knows even our most secret thoughts.
Don't try to barter, or charm him,
The way to the tomb, you'll get lost.
Don't ask foregiveness for sinning,
Learn to forgive, and not sin.
The thought of any wrong doing,
Will let the temptation get in.
Too many pray, as if humble.
Not knowing what humble should be.
Compassion, for all things and all beings.
From very old, to a nice new baby.
Love Him as the poor in heart do.
They have learnt to see God as One,
In all things they give to each other
The blessings that come from above.
Learn to unravel the parables
Covered over in plain sight to see.
The way we should follow and Love Him.
To the end of our lives, you and me.
Learn too about the beatitudes,
They teach of a way that should be.
To always remember what Love is,
And give it to all that you see.
Go to Him in Love, like a baby.
Look for nothing, just be as you are.
The way Nature made you from childhood,
T'ill you grew, and loved as a man.
If we follow every commandment,
We would soon learn that one out of the ten,
One word, through them all is woven.
It is Love, from beginning to end.
View the new day with a smile,
Know whatever we face or it brings us,
We walk hand in hand every mile.

The echo of Words from Beyond
Palm Beach, a beauty spot for fishermen on the South Coast
To the Memory of Stephanus Adriaan, born 15th June 1913
He lived, Loved and Died, but still is remembered
With great Love by his sons, Daan and Gerhardus.
A mind from the past tells a story of Love
With memories, saddness, and grief.
How the sea called him back to a place in the Heart
To re-live every week, the same dream.
His Brother was lost at sea, never found
His son dived into the hidden rocks,
Broke his neck, and had to be set free
From the body, no longer with thoughts.
To be the voice, of a voiceless one
And tell of his memories he gives
Of his life and the loss of his brother
Then a son of his own, named the same.
He had an aim in life then
To teach his remaining two sons
To respect and care for Nature and Sea
So they would live healthy and sound.
Each Friday when the weeks work was over
The three went down to the sea
To fish and play, all night if need be
Until the very next day.
When hungry they collected mussels,
Made a fire to cook on the rock
Dug a bed in the sand when ready
To rest when the time came to nod.
They feared each new wave that brought the lice
That dug quickly, under the sand
Before the wave went out, then in again
The scurry went on with a dance.
Their father was in his own little world.
Of memories he lived night and day,
No home would they see, till his bait gone,
Only then would he take them away.
The sea seems to always claim its own,
Though the danger is hard to see.
The mind carries back to the dangerous part
That stays in this memory.
The mind talks of Love for his family
As each time they go to sea.
Now mature, and in the bonus years,
His sons still re-live these years.
His sons live a life of rememberance
Of their youth, with father, by the sea.
They still Love the waves, and respect every day,
How fate set their life out to be.
They both still live near the waves and the sea
That holds lots of dangers and sadness.
The memory deep, still lingers, repeats,
And never can change into gladness.
Always respect beauty in Nature
She is awesome for all to see
Allow Her to do, what She does best.
Then all in her path will be free.

An Old Tradional Song. - Author Unknown
He stood in a beautiful mansion
Surrounded by riches untold
He gazed at a beautiful picture
That hung in a frame of gold.
T'was the picture of a lady
So beautiful young and fair
And to the life like features
He murmered in despair
Chorus.
If those lips could only speak
And those eyes could only see
And those beautiful golden tresses
Were in reality.
Could I only take your hand
As I did when you took my name
But it's only a beautiful picture
In a beautiful golden frame.
Surrounded by riches untold
He gazed at a beautiful picture
That hung in a frame of gold.
T'was the picture of a lady
So beautiful young and fair
And to the life like features
He murmered in despair
Chorus.
If those lips could only speak
And those eyes could only see
And those beautiful golden tresses
Were in reality.
Could I only take your hand
As I did when you took my name
But it's only a beautiful picture
In a beautiful golden frame.
